GUWAHATI: Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi in a meeting with the Chief Ministers of 21 states and Union Territories via video conferencing said that the COVID-19 recovery rate has improved to over 50 percent in India.
Further, PM Modi said that because of the efforts made in the last few weeks, green shoots have begun to be visible in the economy.

"To even think of stepping out without a mask or face cover is not right at present. ‘Do gaj ki doori’, hand-washing and use of sanitizers is of utmost importance. With markets opening and people stepping out, these precautions are even more important," the Prime Minister added.
