GUWAHATI: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has released a comprehensive weather forecast and warnings for Assam and adjoining states for the upcoming days.
April 5:
• Light to moderate rain is expected at most places over Arunachal Pradesh, with many places likely to experience rain in Assam and Meghalaya.
• Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura may witness rain at a few places.
• Isolated places in Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, and Tripura are likely to experience thunderstorm and lightning with gusty winds reaching speeds of 40-50 kmph.
• Thunderstorm and lightning are anticipated at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh.
• Heavy to very heavy rain is expected at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh.

April 6:
• Similar conditions are expected as on April 5, with most places in Arunachal Pradesh likely to experience light to moderate rain.
