GUWAHATI: In India, the number of COVID-19 cases has risen to 649 (including 42 cured), according to the Union Health Ministry.
Further, India's coronavirus death toll has reached 13.
The state of Maharashtra has been most affected by the virus. A total of 124 positive cases have been reported in Maharashtra, out of which 3 people have passed away.

In the northeast, two positive cases of Covid-19 have been reported - one in Manipur and another in Mizoram.
However, the good news is Assam has so far remained safe from the pandemic as no patient has been tested positive until March 26.
