GUWAHATI: Over 75000 people are under quarantine in Assam, among whom many are in home quarantine.
"All of them will undergo a health examination before being released from the quarantine centre," informed Himanta Biswa Sarma.
He added that 74000 people will be released from quarantine on April 9, which will make the date remarkable.

Sarma urged the people of Assam to frequently wash hands, use sanitizers and wear mask in public. Due to these suggestions being followed, there are low cases of seasonal flu, he said.
