GUWAHATI: 15 persons have tested positive for coronavirus in Guwahati on May 13. Assam's Covid-19 tally now stands at 79.
"All are related to patient from Guwahati's Fancy Bazaar patient who tested positive recently," stated health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
He added that all 15 patients are under quarantine.

With these new cases coming to light, the total number of active cases in Assam stands at 37 while 39 persons have been discharged and 2 persons have passed away.
Earlier, on May 11, Mungru Sahani of Fancy Bazaar had tested positive for the deadly virus.
