GUWAHATI: Cotton University has secured a patent for its innovative "Allantoic Cavity Drilling Device." The Patent Office, Government of India, issued a Certificate of Registration of Design for the innovation.
The design has been registered under class 24-01 and is attributed to a team of individuals, including Akalesh Kumar Verma, Prof. Rezina Ahmed, Dr. Namram Sushindrajit Singh, Dr. Sweta Singh, Dipanjan Dey, Dr. Suraj Chetri, Lupamudra Borah, Suchi Parna Roy, Naaz Parbin Islam, and Golphina Ahmed.
Assam Education Minister, Ranoj Pegu, extended congratulations to the faculty and students of Cotton University for this remarkable achievement, emphasising the institution's dedication to research and innovation. Minister Pegu expressed his best wishes, recognising the achievement as a testament to the university's dedication to pushing the boundaries of knowledge and making impactful contributions to various domains.
