Cotton University Gets 'A' Grade Accreditation From NAAC

 

GUWAHATI: Cotton University becomes the first university in the Northeast to get NAAC ‘A’ grade in the 1st Cycle of evaluation on September 5.

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) awarded Cotton University a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 3.05, solidifying its position as a leading institution of higher learning.

This is the first time the university has undergone an NAAC evaluation since its elevation to university status in 2017.

This was announced by Assam education Minister Ranoj Pegu on September 5. “Congratulations to @CottonUniversi1 for being accredited with A grade (CGPA of 3.05 on a seven-point scale). Cotton has always been an epitome of knowledge and high educational standards and secured an A grade in the first cycle of assessment as a University in the entire north east,” Pegu stated on his official X account.
