College brawl leads to the death a 24 year old

In a horrific incident of a brawl between college students, a 24 year old student, Katem Dai lost his life. The incident took place at Gorchuk Scholars’ Institute of Technology and Management and occurred late at night on Monday. The brawl ensued for reasons that are currently unidentified and police investigation is underway. In the events leading up to the brawl, there was reportedly a party going on and the students were celebrating the Statehood Day of Arunachal Pradesh with the teachers. Reports indicated that there was alcohol consumption in the premises. The culprit has been identified as Rajen Paswan, a 4th Semester student of the Civil Engineering branch. The victim, Katem Dai was also a 4th Semester student of the Civil Engineering branch.
