GUWAHATI: Guwahati based cafe-restro, 'PIAZZA' has made Assam proud by winning the 'Best Italian Restaurant of the Year - East' at the 9th Annual Indian Restaurant Congress 2019 held in JW Marriott, Delhi.
The journey for this modern European café-bar began in 2018 when the founders had an idea to bring in cuisines from around the world at their exclusive outlet in Guwahati.
BJP National Vice President Shyam Jaju presented the award to the Promoter Vinay Chamaria and Director Rajarshi Pathak.

Speaking about this win, Vinay said "We dedicate this win to every customer and employee with whom we have engaged ever since our inception. We started Piazza as an uber- café and it has evolved into something really aspiring because of the love & faith of our customers."
“We will soon surprise our patrons with a members only lounge- NOTTE. The setup is more like an arthouse with fine renaissance & urban elements to rejuvenate your dark senses,” he added.
While Rajarshi, the director said, “We have had enquiries about franchisee opportunity at the IRC Awards but there can be only one Piazza, Mi Casa es Tu casa. But, we will soon be announcing a second outlet in Assam.”
