GUWAHATI: A team of CID officials conducted search operation with regard to a multi-crore corruption that happened during the Debottar Board days.
The Board is now dismantled.
It is to be mentioned that officials searched residences of former Debottar Board functionaries and office bearers for evidence.

Meanwhile, officials also raided the houses of six former office-bearers of the Kamakhya Debuttor Board in connection with a case relating to misappropriation of public money and seized several bank documents.
The Court recently directed the CID to submit its report within three months. The CID had earlier registered a case (01/2020) under section 120 b/406/201 of the IPC.
