CCEA Approves ₹ 1,435 Crore For PAN 2.0 Project

 

GUWAHATI: The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA), chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has granted approval for the PAN 2.0 Project, a major technological overhaul of the Income Tax Department’s taxpayer registration services. The project, with a financial outlay of ₹1,435 crore, aims to drive a significant transformation in the handling of PAN and TAN services.
