GUWAHATI: A burglary took place at VK Surekha & Company, a tax consultancy firm located on Jail Road in the Fancy Bazar area of Guwahati, in the late hours of Sunday, August 12.

The office was ransacked by the burglars, and a significant amount of cash was stolen from the premises.
The firm's owner, Sanjay Kumar Surekha, reported that approximately ₹2-3 lakh in cash was missing following the break-in.
An official from the Fancy Bazar outpost stated, "There are two suspects according to evidence and we are working on it."
Further details regarding the investigation are awaited as police are trying to apprehend the suspects and recover the stolen cash.
