GUWAHATI: The body of a youth was recovered in Guwahati’s Hatigarh Chariali on May 6, Monday.
The deceased, found lying on the side of the road, has been identified as one Jyotish Sharma.
According to reports, Jyotish lived with his mother at Gitanagar Narikalbasti in a rented house.

Family members of the deceased are suspecting it be a case of murder. They informed the police that Jyotish had left the house on Sunday evening but never returned.
Gitanagar Police has sent the body for postmartem and are currently investigating the matter.
