GUWAHATI: On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Bodofa UN Brahma, 13 articles that embody Bodo identity have received the Geographical Indication (GI) Tags from Geographical Indication Registry, Government of India.

The 13 items include Bodo Dokhona, Bodo Eri Silk, Bodo Jwmgra, Bodo Gamsa, Bodo Keradapini, Bodo Thorkha, Bodo Gongar Dunjia, Bodo Kham, Bodo Serja, Bodo Sifung, Bodo Khardwi, Bodo Gongona and Bodo Jotha.
CEM of Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC), Pramod Bodo took to X to post the news.
“Today is a day of immense pride for all Bodoland, as on the birth anniversary of Bodofa UN Brahma, 13 articles that embody Bodo identity have received the prestigious GI Tag from Geographical Indication Registry, Govt. of India,” the tweet read.
