GUWAHATI: Suspected Mizo militants have carried out a blast in a mosque at Kachurthal area of Hailakandi district in Assam.
The incidnet took place along the Assam-Mizoram border on the wee hours of Friday, May 24.
According to reports, the device used in the attack is yet to be ascertained. However, the police had informed that no casualty was reported in the explosion.

Following the blast, a police team had rushed to the spot. Police is currently investigating into the matter.
It should be mentioned that on Friday, Muslim community gathers at mosques in large numbers to offer namaz.
