GUWAHATI: Author Arup Kumar Dutta being conferred D Litt (honoris causa) at the Gauhati University Convocation on 24th February, 2020.
The Honoris Causa Arup Kr. Dutta was conferred by Assam Governor and Chancellor of the University Prof. Jagadish Mukhi.
Arup Kumar Dutta is a prolific Indian writer and journalist based in Guwahati, Assam. With significant contributions towards youth and adult literature- both fiction and non-fiction. Dutta was conferred the prestigious Padmashri award in the year 2018.
