GUWAHATI: Assam’s Nayan Moni Saikia and Bangita Hazarika have secured the gold medal in the Women’s Pairs Lawn Bowls(Doubles) event at the 38th National Games in Uttarakhand.

The state’s athletes continue to shine at the competition, contributing to Assam’s growing medal tally.
According to an official update, Assam currently holds the 20th position with 33 medals, comprising three gold, 15 silver, and 15 bronze.
The 2025 National Games, which commenced on January 28, will run until February 14. This year’s event features 37 teams competing across 43 sports disciplines.
