GUWAHATI: The Assam State Zoo, Guwahati welcomed the birth of a baby Golden Langur at langur breeding facility on January 26th, 2019.
Lovely and Bolin the pair of female-male golden langurs in April last year was shifted to the breeding site after the state zoo was selected to proceed with the Conservation Breeding Programme of Golden Langur.

It is to be mentioned that with all necessary support by the Zoo Veterinary team and the Zoo authority, the pair golden langurs was a success in giving birth to a female offspring on January 26.
