GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma supervised the initial phases of the Assam Police Emergency Management System Project on January 9.
The project, slated for imminent operation in Dergaon, aims to become the country's premier emergency response system.
During an intensive review meeting, CM Sarma emphasised the need for the Assam Police Emergency Management System Project to be at the forefront of technological advancements. His vision is to establish the system as a model for emergency response mechanisms nationwide, emphasising the incorporation of cutting-edge technology and a resilient framework.
The discussion extended beyond emergency management, delving into the aspects of the "Violations of the Drug and Magic Remedies (Objectionable Advertisement) Act, 1954."
