GUWAHATI: In less than 24 hours after their arrest, two accused in the Tajia rally violence case in Dibrugarh were granted bail on Thursday, September 12.
Two men, Furkan Hussain and Javed Akhtar Khan, were arrested in connection with the case where a mob, while participating in Tajia rally on the occasion of Muharram in Dibrugarh, damaged several vehicles which were parked on the road.

According to reports, a group of unidentified miscreants disrupted the proceedings of Tajia Rally by vandalizing a few vehicles that were parked along the side of the road.
Locals alleged that the miscreants were carrying sharp weapons and began destroying whatever came in their way.
