The process for issuing of Aadhaar card will begin in Guwahati from the first week of March this year. A total of 1241 enrolment centres and post offices will be set up across the state to carry out the process smoothly.
Kamrup (metro) deputy commissioner M. Angamuthu has assured that the public need not worry about Aadhaar. He has further requested people not to get in touch with any middlemen.
“Awareness programs in regard with the Aadhaar issuing process will be conducted in each and every ward of the city,” he said.
