Assam Students Now Have A Chance To Watch Chandrayaan 2’s Landing On The Moon With PM Modi

GUWAHATI: An online quiz for school students is being organised by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), the top scorers of which will get to watch the landing of Chandrayaan 2 with Prime Minister Narendra Modi at ISRO’s Bengaluru headquarters. 

According to a report by PTI, to encourage students to participate in the quiz, the Human Resource Department (HRD) Ministry has written to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and other state boards. 

The quiz will be held online and will have 20 questions which the students will have to answer in only 10 minutes.

A senior official from the HRD ministry stated that the top two scoring students from classes 8 to 10 from each state and Union territory will be invited to watch Chandrayaan 2’s landing on the moon with PM Modi. 

Every student who takes part in the quiz will be given a participation certificate. 

Winners for the quiz will be selected by choosing the candidate that gives the maximum number of correct answers. If there is a tie, the participant who gives the maximum number of answers in the shortest time will be declared as the winner. 

It should be noted that Chandrayaan 2 will launch on the moon on September 7.
