GUWAHATI: Amritraj Daimary, the son of former MP and Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) leader Biswajit Daimary is missing.
The Police are still trying to locate him.
Initially, it was not ascertained from where Amritraj was missing. As per the chief investigator Superintendent of Kokrajhar Police, Rakesh Raushan told G Plus that "Amritraj told one of his friends that he wished to go to Guwahati."
Amritraj is a student of Reality Public School in Kokrajhar, Assam. As per a highly placed source, Amritraj wanted to stay out of the hostel.
In November 2020, Biswajit Daimary left Bodoland Peoples Front (BPF) to join the BJP before the commencement of BTC election. On 21 November 2020, Daimary resigned from the Rajya Sabha.
