The vocals were given by Mathieu Eymard, animated by Samudra Kajal Saikia, while lyrics and original concept designs were created by Dr. Susan Lim and Christina Tan. Speaking to G Plus, Joi Barua confirmed the news and mentioned that he was happy and grateful that he had the chance to work on such an interesting project.

He said, "I was part of a team that worked relentlessly in the pursuit of telling a story. I think this was our driving force when we worked towards creating the soundtrack."

The film deals with the themes of sci-fi and human emotions. Barua mentioned that the artistic vision of the makers of the film, Dr. Susan Lim and Christina Teenz Tan convinced him to take up the project.

On being asked how his experience was, working on a project with so much potential, he elucidates, "It wasn't completely different from when you work in a film, compose a song or documentary you see? The point is to focus on the storytelling aspect of it. And that's what we did, completely immersed ourselves in the world that Susan, Samudra and Christina wove. But having said that it was a challenge because I had approached the storytelling of artificial intelligence for the first time. Working with Susan who has an amazing mind, it raises the benchmark of what you do."

‘Fantasy of Companionship between Human and Inanimate’ swept a number of awards at Cannes. The titles include an award for Best Animation Film, Best Family Children Film, Best Sci-fi Film, Best Trailer, Best New Wave Filmmaker, Best Producer, Best Original Story, Best Sound Design, Best Soundtrack and Best Visual Effects.
