GUWAHATI: The Assam Sindhi Panchayat Guwahati celebrated Janamashtmi with much fervour and excitement on Saturday, August 24.
Children and women performed various plays and dances and dressed up as various characters including Krishna and Radha.
Puja and abhishek of lord Krishna was done at midnight and more than 200 people attended the festivities.
