GUWAHATI: In a year affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, where movie and theatre industry took a step back due to the closedown of cinema halls, pausing of shooting, several actors have still proven themselves with their outstanding performances in movies as well as series. One such actor is Assam’s Adil Hussain, who has made it to the Forbes’ list of Best Performances of the Year.
The actor has made it to the list for his impressive performance in the movie Pareeksha, directed by Prakash Jha. This film follows the story of an ordinary Rickshaw driver who dreams of providing the best possible education for his young son by enrolling him in an English Medium School.
Adil Hussain took to Twitter to acknowledge the same, “Thank you @Forbes for putting me in the list 11 best performances of 2020 for #Pareekska directed by @prakashjha27”.
The actor has time and again proved his talent in the acting sphere. Adil Hussain starrer “Delhi Crime” also bagged the award for Best Drama Series at the 48th International Emmy Awards this year.
Some other actors who made it to the list are Pankaj Tripathi, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Tripti Dimri, Vikrant Massey, Vijay Varma, Manoj Bajpayee along with Jaydeep Ahlawat, Kriti Kulhari and Pratik Gandhi.
