GUWAHATI: Under the Ministry of Civil Aviation’s UDAN Scheme, commercial services are all set to begin from Dhubri’s Rupsi Airport from September 2019.
The Rupsi Airport will be connected to Guwahati.

It is to be mentioned that this was disclosed in Centre’s reply to a written query by Dhubri’s MP Badaruddin Ajmal in the Lok Sabha.
According to reports, a private organisation named M/s Turbo Megha Airways Private Limited will be responsible for initiating the service from Dhubri to Guwahati.
Further, the Airports Authority of India has also started the renovation of the airport by investing an amount of Rs 63.36 crore.
