GUWAHATI: The Central Guwahati Police District (CGPD) seized over 6 kilograms of suspected ganja following an intelligence-led operation. This included 4.265 kilograms seized from a four-wheeler at the CTI, Panikhaiti Gate, and 1.860 kilograms found at a suspect's residence.

During the operation, the police arrested Sunil Daimary, a resident of Bengenabari. This seizure demonstrates the police's ongoing efforts to combat drug trafficking in the region.
Following the initial seizure, investigations led police to Daimary’s home, which led them to Daimary’s home, where the additional drugs were discovered.
Legal proceedings have been initiated against Daimary.
