GUWAHATI: In a major crackdown against illegal condensate oil, the Assam Police seized 300 litres of crude oil condensate in Duliajan and arrested three persons in this connection.
The arrested persons are identified as Achut Borgohain (21), Rupam Gogoi (36) Dipu Gogoi (21), the Nauholia Police said.
The condensate oil was allegedly collected by cutting oil pipe from the Soraipung Forest Range in Bhadoi Panchali, Assam.
Further, a vehicle was also seized from the three accused.
The search operation was conducted by Officer-in-Charge of the Nauholia Police Station Suman Shah.
