GUWAHATI: The Assam state government has made its fourth reshuffle in the police department in a span of 40 days on January 7.
In an order, the Assam government has transferred and posted 6 police officers in various ranks.
Sadiya Superintendent of Police (SP) Debojit Deuri has been transferred and posted as the new Karbi Anglong SP.
Leen Doley, SP (CID), Guwahati has been transferred as the SP, Special Branch (EZ), Jorhat camp while Bhanwar Lal Meena, SP, Special Branch (Establishment), Kahilipara, has been transferred and posted as Sadiya SP.
VVR Reddy, SP, Special Branch (EZ), Jorhat has been transferred and posted as SP (CID), Guwahati while Ratna Singha, SP, Special Branch (Z), Kahilipara has been transferred and posted as SP, Special Branch (E), Kahilipara.
