GUWAHATI: Guwahati Jal Board (GJB) issued a notice on Saturday to its consumers, informing them about an upcoming interruption in water supply in different areas in Guwahati.

The interruption will affect all Distribution Management Areas (DMAs) served by the Lichubagan Reservoir on April 7.

This interruption is necessary to facilitate jointing works aimed at commissioning four new DMAs: 6L20, 6L21, 6L22, and 6L23.
The affected areas include Nabanagar Path, Indrapur Area, Maheshpur Area, and Kanchan Nagar Area. GJB informs that the water supply will resume on April 8. The Guwahati Jal Board regrets any inconvenience caused to its esteemed consumers due to this interruption
