GUWAHATI: The Assam Home Department has issued a series of orders under the authority of the Governor to transfer and post several police officers in the interest of public service. The following is the list of transfers and postings of the police officers as per the notification.

Moidul Islam, APS (DR-2013), who was deputed to Tinsukia District as Addl. SP (Crime), is reverted back to his substantive post as 2nd-in-Command, 9th APBn., Barhampur, Nagaon.
Bitul Chetia, APS (DR-2013), Addl. SP (Kaziranga National Park) under STF, Assam, Guwahati, is transferred and posted as Additional Superintendent of Police (HQ), Majuli.
Aseema Kalita, APS (DR-2015), Dy. SP, SB (HQ), Assam, Kahilipara, Guwahati, is transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic-II), Guwahati.
Rajashree Dhandia, APS, Vice Principal, Lachit Barphukan Police Academy, Dergaon, is transferred and posted as 2nd-in-Command, 3rd APBn., Titabor, Jorhat.
