Assam Police Apprehend Four Bangladeshi Infiltrators At Karimganj Border

 

GUWAHATI: Assam Police has apprehended four Bangladeshi nationals near the Indo-Bangladesh border in Karimganj district. The four Bangladeshis were detained by police while patrolling along the borders.

The police have been conducting intensified border monitoring operations to deal with the issue of unauthorised entry, particularly in some sensitive stretches of the border.

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma lauded the successful operation, stating, "In yet another successful push back operation of illegal Bangladeshi infiltrators, 
@assampolice managed to apprehend and send back to Bangladesh the following individuals through the Karimganj border

4. Md Kawsar
