Assam: NFR to Run Five More Special Trains from Northeast Region

GUWAHATI: To help clear the rush of passengers, Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) will be running five more special trains from the north-eastern region this week for passengers travelling during the current festive season. These trains will run one-way for one trip only.


Special train No. 05679 will leave from Rangapara North at 1:15 PM on 13th November for Secunderabad. The train will have stoppages at Rangiya, New Bongaigaon, New Coochbehar, New Jalpaiguri, Malda Town, Rampur Hat, Dankuni, Bhattanagar, Kharagpur, Bhadrak, Khurda Road, Palasa, Visakhapatnam, Rajamundry and Vijayawada. 


Special train No. 05675 will leave from Agartala at 10:25 PM on 12th November to reach Manduadih on 14th November. The Special Train will run via Goalpara and will have stoppages at Badarpur, Guwahati, Goalpara, New Bongaigaon, New Jalpaiguri, Katihar, Samastipur, Chhapra and Varanasi.

Another special train No. 05676 will leave from Silchar at 10:00 PM on 12th November for Bangalore Cantt. It will run via Rangiya and will have stoppages at Badarpur, Guwahati, Rangiya, New Bongaigaon, New Jalpaiguri, Malda Town, Dankuni, Bhadrak, Khurda Road, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, Perambur and Katpadi. 


Train No. 05677 will leave from Agartala at 2:00 PM on 13th November for Chhapra. The Special Train will run via Manderdisa/Patharkhola, Rangiya and will have stoppages at Badarpur, New Haflong, Manderdisa/Patharkhola, Guwahati, Rangiya, New Bongaigaon, New Jalpaiguri, Katihar, Samastipur and Hajipur. 


Special Train No. 05678 will leave from New Tinsukia at 7 AM on 12th November for Hubli. It will run via Bogibeel Bridge and will have stoppages at Dibrugarh, New Sisiborgaon, North Lakhimpur, Rangapara North, Rangiya, New Bongaigaon, New Coochbehar, Raninagar Jalpaiguri, New Jalpaiguri, Malda Town, Dankuni, Kharagpur, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Palasa, Visakhapatnam, Duvada, Vijayawada, Nandyal and Bellary Jn.
