GUWAHATI: A new Intercity Special Express between Dekargaon-Dibrugarh has been flagged off from Dekargaon on August 19, Monday.

N. F. Railway taking the Twiiter handle wrote,"On the very first day of its run, the Dekargaon (Tezpur) -Dibrugarh intercity train has evoked enthusiastic response among people with 100% booking in UTS class. A long cherished need has been fulfilled."

The train will link Tezpur and Dibrugarh via Bogibeel bridge, India’s longest rail-cum-road bridge and has four general second class coaches, five second class day coach and 11 SLR coaches.
