GUWAHATI: Assam's Water Resources Minister, Keshab Mahanta along with his team visited the flood-affected areas and took stock of the situation in Morigaon district on July 12.
Mahanta visited the Tengaguri area and assured to extend all possible help to the flood-affected people.

It may be mentioned that as per the flood bulletin, three persons have lost lives and around 4.23 lakh people and 2.29 lakh animals have been affected across 17 districts in the state.
