GUWAHATI: Locals in Assam’s Golaghat district thrashed a man for harassing a schoolgirl on Wednesday, September 25.
According to reports, the accused, identified as Satyandar Kumar Singh, allegedly harassed a school student of Adarsh Buniyadi School in Golaghat.
The accused, Singh, stalked the minor while she was going to school and touched her inappropriately.

Following the incident, locals of the area came to the girl's rescue and hit Singh with sandals and stripped him of his clothes on the street, after which he was handed over to Golaghat police officials.
It is to be mentioned that the victim had complained to her sister about the stalker and the former's parents were vary about the stalker for a while.
