GUWAHATI: The body of a man from Assam has been found in Maharashtra under mysterious circumstances. The incident occurred 12 kms from Waliv Police station in Palghar district.
The deceased has been identified as Sanjib Dutta, who was a resident of Bhogamukh’s Lahowal Bhitorual in Jorhat.
According to the reports, the deceased left for Gujarat in search of a job with an acquaintance on June 4.

Later, the duo moved to Maharashtra and stayed in a rented room. On the day of shifting, Dutta's acquaintance informed the former's family members about him missing.
Dutta's acquaintance and some others filed a missing complaint report in the Waliv police station on June 8.
Presently, the deceased's family members have contacted Walib police to bring his body to perform the last rites ceremony.
