GUWAHATI: Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Assam's Kokrajhar district, Debeswar Bora, has been booked for alleged sexual harassment of a woman at his residence.

The victim, the mother of a child, was reportedly called by Bora to his residence for the settlement of a land dispute on 22nd November last. She visited him alone as her husband was not in Kokrajhar.
However, ADC Bora allegedly made sexual advances towards the woman, and when she refused he held her hand forcefully.
Kokrajhar Police informed G Plus that a case has been registered under section 354/354(A) of the Indian Penal Code on the following 24th November.
ADC Debeswar Bora is reportedly in Guwahati now.
