GUWAHATI: In an unfortunate incident, an Itanagar-bound night bus, which was coming from Lakhimpur, fell into a deep swamp at Dergaon in Assam’s Golaghat district on June 25.
According to reports, locals rescued the injured passengers and sent them to Jorhat Medical College and Hospital.
The bus was later pulled out of the swamp with the help of three cranes which disrupted the movement of traffic on the highway, causing long lines of vehicles on the road.
