GUWAHATI: In an unfortunate incident, a HSLC Candidate committed suicide in Boko area under Kamrup district on the night of February 22.
According to reports, the HSLC candidate who was a resident of Chukuniapara allegedly commited suicide by jumping in front of a train. The student was under depression due to his exams.
Meanwhile, the body has been sent to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for post mortem.

Earlier, a female student from Assam's Barpeta district committed suicide after she was expelled for cheating during the HSLC examination.
She was expelled from the Bohori High School examination centre for allegedly adopting unfair means during the arabic paper on 13 February.
