GUWAHATI: In a press meet, Assam State Finance Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that the state government has invited PM Modi and Home minister Amit Shah to Kokrajhar on February 7 to celebrate the Bodo peace accord.
It is to be mentioned that all the 4 factions of National Democratic Front of Boroland (NDFB) will lay down arms on January 30 in front of Assam CM Sarbananda Sonowal.
Meanwhile, going forward with more administrative powers, the Bodoland Territorial Area Districts will now be renamed to Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR).
