GUWAHATI: In the interest of public service, Government of Assam, vide an order dated May 19, announced that Gaurav Bothra, IAS, Commissioner, Central Assam Division and Commissioner and Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Handloom, Textiles & Sericulture and Welfare of Minorities & Development Departments and Member, Board of Revenue is transferred and posted as Commissioner and Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Handloom, Textiles & Sericulture and Welfare of Minorities & Development Departments.
The notice further stated that, Moloy Bora, IAS, CEO, GMDA and MD, Guwahati Smart City Ltd, has also been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Central Assam Division and Member, Board of Revenue, Assam as additional charge.
Robinson Mochahari, IAS, Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department is posted as Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Urban Development Department as additional charge.
In addition to these transfers, Umananda Doley, IAS, Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Urban Development and Guwahati Development Department is also transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of the Guwahati Development Department for posting him as CEO, GMDA.

Ashok Kr. Barman, ACS, Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Handloom, Textiles and Sericulture and Welfare of Minorities and Development Departments is further posted as Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Department and Director, Animal Husbandry and Veterinary, Assam as additional charge.
Vide another notice issued on the same date, the Governor of state announced that Rupak Kr. Mazumdar, IAS, Commissioner & Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Social Welfare Department is transferred and posted as Commissioner & Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Transformation and Development Department.
Hemen Das, IAS, Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Panchayat & Rural Development and Science & Technology Departments and Commissioner, Panchayat & Rural Development and CEO, Biotech Technology Council and Guwahati Biotech Park and MD, Poshan Abhiyan, Assam is relieved from the additional charge of MD, Poshan Abhiyan, Assam.
The notice also stated that June Deka Thakur, TAS, Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Social Welfare Department is also posted as Mission Director, POSHAN Abhiyan, Assam as additional charge.
