GUWAHATI: The Assam Government announced its decision to enter into a lease agreement with Jenipro Hotels Pvt Ltd, a subsidiary of Saraf Hotel Enterprises, a conglomerate that operates under the Hyatt Group of Hotels during the 100th state cabinet meeting held yesterday.
The lease agreement between the Assam Government and Jenipro Hotels Pvt Ltd is poised to usher in development for Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famed for its rich biodiversity and housing a significant population of the Indian one-horned rhinoceros.
This collaboration is aimed not just at boosting the inflow of tourists but also to provide local communities with opportunities for economic growth.
