GUWAHATI: The Assam Government has allotted ₹150 crore to Assam Cancer Care Foundation, as per a decision made by the Assam Cabinet on Thursday.
The fund has been allotted in order to expedite the construction of the remaining three Cancer Care Hospitals at the State Cancer Institute (SCI) at Guwahati, Diphu and Slichar.
The Assam Cabinet met on Thursday and made several key decisions for the state's development, including allocating funds to expedite the construction of Cancer Care Hospitals.
