GUWAHATI: In a tragic incident, the body of a teenage girl was found in Barbaruah Tea Estate in Dibrugarh district of Assam on Saturday, August 17.
According to reports, the deceased went to work at around 6:00 AM in the morning at BCPL township but did not reach the workplace. Later the body of the deceased was discovered by tea labourers near a drain.

Meanwhile, the family members of the deceased have lodged an FIR at Barbaruah Police Station alleging that the victim was raped and then murdered.
The Police said they have taken the body for postmortem following which they will start with the investigation.
