GUWAHATI: A female journalist working with a print-based media house was allegedly molested inside a night bus in the early hours of Thursday, September 12.
According to reports, the journalist who boarded a bus (John Travels) from Guwahati to Duliajan on the night of September 11, was molested by a male passenger sitting next to her in the bus.

The accused has been identified as Rahul Khataniar from Gaurisagar of Sivasagar district. Based on the inputs of the female journalist, the police detained the accused at Dergaon Police Station at around 4 AM on September 12.
The journalist has also registered an FIR against the accused at the station.
