GUWAHATI: The police thwarted a potential dacoity plot in Dhekiajuli on October 30 and also apprehended three individuals suspected to be in the ploy.
During the operation, the authorities recovered a .22mm pistol, along with live ammunition, from the possession of the suspects. In addition, a two-wheeler was also seized as part of the operation. Legal procedures have been initiated against the apprehended individuals to address their involvement in the alleged criminal plot.
Assam Police also took to X to put out, “Act on an Intel, Dhekiajuli PS apprehended 3 persons who are planning to execute for dacoity at Dhekiajuli area and recovered .22 mm Pistol along with live ammunition and one motorcycle from their possessions.”
