GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma dedicated a series of National Highway projects aimed at enhancing connectivity and boosting regional development.
The key National Highway projects inaugurated include:
NH-515 in Dhemaji District and Dibrugarh-Tinsukia-Ledo Project: This project is set to bring about an improvement in connectivity between Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. It will play a pivotal role in strengthening transportation links between the two states, promoting trade, tourism, and overall economic growth.
Silchar to Lailapur Section: The inauguration of this section will facilitate the connection between Barak Valley and Mizoram.
NH-137: This National Highway is expected to enhance connectivity in the Dima Hasao Region. Moreover, it will provide an alternate route to reach Manipur, which is significant for trade and accessibility.
Paikan to Guwahati Airport Section: This section will play a crucial role in facilitating the operations of Jogighopa's Multi-Modal Logistics Park.
