Further extending its support to the academic community, the Assam government has announced a one-time financial assistance of ₹25,000 for research scholars enrolled in state and central government universities, irrespective of gender.

Moreover, Divyang (differently-abled) research scholars will receive an enhanced grant of ₹50,000 under the scheme.
